Meet LJ. Our kind-hearted and talented Staff Accountant that’s been with Nordlund for 3.5 years. LJ started out doing the books for her husband’s business while attending college & discovered she had a love and passion for accounting. After working 20 years as a staff accountant in Seattle, she came to Nordlund and has played a crucial role here ever since. Her favorite thing about Nordlund is the people. She states we have a great CEO and awesome crew who is friendly and supportive to work with. LJ adds that we have truly amazing craftsmen who care about their work & customers & she is blessed every day to be a part of this company. In her free time, you can find LJ horseback riding, camping, fishing, but most of all, spending time with her family! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication LJ, we appreciate you!

This 63’ pilot boat “Orion” was designed by Tim Nolan Marine Design and built here at the Nordlund yard. Orion is built for tough, continuous duty, powered by HamiltonJet HM 522 waterjets and twin Caterpillar C-18s, producing a total of 1,600 hp. Built to last 40-plus years with reduced maintenance costs and high efficiency, perfect to deliver pilots to ships safely.

Meet Ryan. Our talented mechanic and yard lead that has been part of the Nordlund crew for 6 years. He was first introduced to this job through his dad, who also worked here. Ryan takes on all sorts of roles here at the yard and we are continually impressed by his large range of skills. When Ryan isn’t at the shipyard, you can find him spending time with friends, drifting or working on cars, and playing football. One of his favorite things about Nordlund is the environment and his helpful and kind coworkers. Thank you for your dedication and eagerness to work Ryan!

Meet Willie. Our skilled technician that has been

Meet Willie. Our skilled technician that has been a part of the Nordlund crew for 8+ months. Willie took an interest in mechanical work at the age of 14, starting with cars, then small motorboats, and now yachts. One of the most valuable attributes about working here according to Willie is that he can go back to school all while having a supportive boss and flexible schedule to do so. With a young son at home, Willie places importance on teaching him the value of hard work and patience, both skills he uses in the yard. He appreciates the positive atmosphere and diligent coworkers here at Nordlund. When Willie isn’t at the shipyard he enjoys working on cars, camping, and spending time with his son. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Willie!
